“I’LL WAIT” TILL THE NEXT VAN HALEN TOUR

Van HalenAnd just like that, my hopes of finally seeing a David Lee Roth-fronted Van Halen have once again been shattered. Pollstar.com reported yesterday that the tour, which was never officially announced despite a photo of the new lineup (right) on RollingStone.com, has been “postponed indefinitely.” I guess that a David Lee Roth-fronted VH playing material only from 1984 and earlier was too good to be true. I suppose I’ll have to settle for the other buzzworthy headline-making reunion tour this year, the Police. On second though, no, I just don’t care enough about the Police. Maybe next summer…

    It’s ok. If they tour, I’m certain pigs will fly, hell will freeze over and Chinese Democracy will be released. I’m just not sure the world could handle it.

    For the record, I love the Police. That said, I don’t think I’ll be spending the hundreds of dollars I’m sure their tickets will cost.
