BILLBOARD REPORT: SEVENDUST DEBUT AT NO. 14
Sevendust’s March 6th release Alpha debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Top 200 chart, the highest debut ever for the band. Alpha moved 42,000 units in its first week of release, eclipsed in the hard rock / metal genre only by Korn’s MTV Unplugged which shifted 51,000 copies to land at No. 9. Chimaira’s Resurrection moved 16,000 units, good enough for a #42 spot, and Megadeth’s live DVD That One Night sold 3,000 discs to earn a #12 spot on the Music DVD chart.
