ROB ZOMBIE WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO A NICE HALLOWEEN, AND THEN THE MPAA WENT AND TP’D HIS HOUSE The MPAA (that’s Motion Picture Association of America for all your laymen), the group that decides not only what rating films should receive but also what advertising materials are inappropriate for general public consumption, has banned the trailer for Rob Zombie’s upcoming remake of the classic slasher flick Halloween. The trailer will be made available again online soon, but now as a “yellow tag” trailer, which means you’ll only be able to view it during evening hours, when, I guess, the MPAA thinks all kids with access to the internet are asleep.

Unfortunately for the MPAA, this plan is completely fucktarded: all you have to do is change the time on your computer and the internet assumes it is after dark and lets you view the trailer. So this will really only prevent stupid kids from being able to view it.

Anyway, this isn’t Zombie’s first run-in with the MPAA. He had to make cuts to The Devil’s Rejects a few years back to avoid an NC-17 rating.
