VIDEO OF THE DAY: NINE INCH NAILS & MARILYN MANSON MAKE-UP… AT MADISON SQUARE GARDEN

The year is 1999. Trent Reznor and his former protégé, Marilyn Manson, have a very public falling-out, resulting in Reznor writing the anthemic missive “Starfuckers, Inc.” about Manson for his comeback album, The Fragile. Then, a startling development: at a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden, in the middle of a performance of the song in question… MANSON TAKES THE STAGE! He helps Reznor finish the tune before they rip into a duet of Manson’s biggest hit, the Reznor-produced “Beautiful People.” I was there when this happened, and let me tell you, it’s still one of the most thrilling live experiences of my life. Enjoy.
