'Ghost Reveries' is the realization of all the best ideas from 'Deliverance' and 'Damnation', with none of the filler. Their older stuff is crucial and 'Blackwater Park' is fantastic, but 'Ghost Reveries' may well be their crowning achievement. Sorry James, gotta disagree.

At one point they were my favorite band. Their Blackwater Park tour was amazing. Deliverance/Damnation wasn't that great, and Ghost Reveries was Ok but not amazing. They can't all be masterpieces, right? But then again I wasn't so hot on the whole keyboardist idea either. I guess they've re-released the album and whatnot...My Arms Your Hearse is still a complete masterpiece. I’m not sure how I feel about this. At one point they were my favorite band.
