ADAM BEACH LISTENS TO METAL

adam_beach.jpgAdam Beach – star of such films as Flags of Our Fathers, Windtalkers, and this weekend’s HBO epic Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee – is interviewed in this morning’s edition of film trade paper Variety. Some of his answers are as follows:

Last CD I Bought: Pantera, Greatest Hits

Song I’m Currently Listening to: “Stone Cold Crazy,” Metallica

Songs that Mean a Lot to Me: Guns N’ Roses, Appetite for Destruction – the whole album.”

Who’d'a thunk a nice, clean-cut, Native American boy like this would go around blasting Pantera, GN’R and Metallica? Go figure.

Man’s got taste……in music. Windtalkers and Flags of Our Fathers sucked.

His choice of movies was probably to portray his creed on screen more than to become a movie star. Stardom clearly doesn’t seem to be as great a priority for him as portrayal. Thus, he joins the Law & Order: SVU cast next season.

And yea, that is some cool music taste. Rock on!

Well, that’s a good point, gnosys. Plus, who would turn down opportunities to work with Clint Eastwood and John Woo? Still……

Clean cut now…But have you seen the locks he had in “Smoke Signals”?

Smoke Signals and Dance Me Outside were his best, though they are rarely mentioned. All else was him trying to make a name for himself.

Too bad about the Metallica ~ great taste with the rest. ;) Pity on people who think metal fans have to be a certain type.
