I HAVE TO SIT THROUGH 10 HIP-HOP ACTS TO SEE RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE?!?!

Pollstar reports that Rage Against The Machine will participate in this summer’s Rock the Bells tour, a 13-date trek alongside Wu-Tang Clan, Nas, Cypress Hill, UGK, Talib Kweli, Pharoahe Monch, David Banner, Immortal Technique, and Jedi Mind Tricks.

WHAT?! I want me some Rage Against the Machine. I want me some METAL! What the fuck is this crap? I’m not shelling out $100 to sit through an all day affair with a bunch of hip-hop groups I mostly don’t care about, only to watch Rage play to an audience that thinks a mosh pit is a hole in the ground where you have a barbecue. Fuck this shit.

Totally understandable. But, to be fair, Wu Tang and Talib Kweli are both pretty goddamn awesome.

If you mean Wu-Tang from 12 years ago, and by “Awesome” you mean, “Great in the studio, but sadly, like almost every hip-hop group around, sucky live”, then i agree.
