Greetings, Metalsuckers and Metalsuckettes. Thanks to your continued patronage, as June comes to a close it is shaping up to be our most successful month yet and our sixth consecutive month of growth (hard to believe it’s been that long already!). We just wanted to take a quick minute to point out some recent changes to the site and, of course, ask for your feedback.

As you most likely haven’t noticed, we’ve officially dropped the “.net” from our name. The reason is twofold: 1) we now own both the .net and .com domain names, so it doesn’t matter anyway, and 2) it looks cooler. We’ve also recently replaced our NY concert calendar with an upcoming release calendar in the Sidebar, which we figure will appeal to more of you. Recent features like “Board to Death”, Polls, and Soundscan Charts have proven to be popular, and we’ve got more great ideas in the works for the near future. We are also now actively seeking advertisers so we can continue to bring you the Metal without having to dip into our pockets. Lastly, we’d love to know what you guys think of what we’ve been doing lately. Actually, fuck that, we don’t give a shit what you think about that. But more importantly, what kinds of additional stuff would you like to see more of and less of in the future?
