D'Arcy and Iha didn't even play on any Smashing Pumpkins albums even when they were in the band. Billy Corgan played all of the guitar and bass parts. And if you ever saw them live, Corgan and the (excellent) drummer Jimmy Chamberlain clearly ran the show. I haven’t heard the new album yet, so I can’t say whether I like the songs…
