VIDEO OF THE DAY: TAPROOT, “AGAIN AND AGAIN”

Rolling with this week’s theme of trite nu-metal videos, check out this video for Taproot’s break out hit “Again and Again.” The video is completely interchangeable with yesterday’s selection from Pressure 4-5. Again, a decent song, but every video from this era (and I suppose this could be said about any era) looks exactly the same. Ann Arbor Rock City! Ace Deuce represent!

Yes, the word “ubiquitous” comes to mind no matter what sentence I want to use to describe the video. But every decade or genre has its cliches. At least this was before the band went to three-part vocal harmonies ad nauseum. And the drummer is pretty technically skilled…or so my drummer friends tell me.

I’m an insanely good drummer – in my head. In reality I look like I should be relegated to the Window Lickers Band.
