SLEEPING GIANT NEED TO TAKE A DIRT NAP

primary_sg.jpgJesus FUCKING Christ. This band is awful, awful, AWFUL. Oh, make it stop. What did I do to deserve this shit? Crappy rap metal in generic metalcore’s clothing (“Whoremonger”) and deathcore vocals so bad it actually sounds like someone having diarrhea pour out of their mouth (“Blame it on the Holy Rollers”) – yet they have the balls to classify themselves as “southern rock.” And, oh yeah – they’re Christian (that Sleeping Giant ain’t jolly and green – check out the quote on their MySpace page: “For if he wakes, he will shake the world.”), and their album is called Dread Champions of the Last Days. And when I found out the singer’s name was Thom Green, I just about shit myself until I realized I was actually thinking of Tom Green.

“You can let it all go and walk into the light,” vocalist Green promises on “Whoremonger.” You first, dude.

    i actually like these guys their blending of different genres appeals to me.On The “Blame It On The Holy Rollers” song Impending Dooms vocalist does guest vox…just thought you should know.

    Sleeping Giant is amazing. their lyrics are just so heartfelt and pure… it makes me feel closer to God everytime I hear even just a piece of one of their songs. =)
    and don’t even try to down Tommy. he is such a wonderful person. he helps people in their time of need. he is always there for his friends, unlike most people.

    besides, who are you to judge? this particular style of music may not be exactly what you’re looking for, but it’s fabulous for others and gives them a reason to wake up every day.
    myself included.

    so please think twice next time before you are so quick to crap on stuff.

    sleeping giant is AWESOME!! i saw them perform a couple days ago and they killed!!!! plus afterwards when i went to see them thommy was praying sincerely with complete strangers as if they were his brothers and sisters!! Who gave you the right to judge?
