HELL FREEZES OVER: VAN HALEN ANNOUNCE FULL TOUR WITH DAVID LEE ROTH!

Van HalenAt a much-anticipated press conference this afternoon in Los Angeles, Van Halen announced a 25-date North American tour, the first with estranged singer David Lee Roth in 22 years. The lineup will feature all of the original members except bassist Michael Anthony; Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang will be in his place.     If you haven’t seen the new official website, you must. Check out how they have erased all traces of Michael Anthony’s existence. They went so far as to edit Wolfgang into the VHI album cover. It is really bizarre.

    Anyone else really think this tour will finish? For some reason, I think it will end with a slew of cancelled dates, or they’ll just call of the tour halfway through. Maybe it’s just the cynic in me?

    It’s a scab band. No reason to get excited.
    DLR doesn’t have the vocals he once did, and EVH is a bitter little douche bag.

    Go check out the VH site and see how they have deleted, or edited Michael Anthony off of all of the album covers he was previously on.

    They’re a pathetic joke of a band. This is a cash grab tour and nothing more.
