IS TRENT REZNOR TAKING VERBAL LAXATIVES? NIN FRONTMAN SLAMS CORGAN.

Fresh off the presses from his recent tirade against the record industry in which he slammed Sony Australia for charging exorbitant prices for the new Nine Inch Nails CD (”my record company is run by thieves”), NIN frontman/onlyman Trent Reznor has slammed the half-reconstituted Smashing Pumpkins. In an interview with NME.com, Reznor states:
“I was never a big Smashing Pumpkins fan back when they were the Pumpkins, not to shit on Billy or anything but I don’t hear anything that would make me want to care. I think trying to resurrect the name Smashing Pumpkins… it’s all a bit corporate for me.”
The comment came shortly before Nine Inch Nails was to appear directly before the Smashing Pumpkins at the Reading Festival in the UK this past weekend.
Now before you haters question whether the pot is calling the kettle black, consider this: a) Reznor has never said NIN was anything other than his own band with hired musicians, b) Nine Inch Nails never broke up and attempted a “reunion,” c) Billy Corgan has about as much talent as Trent Reznor’s left testicle.
In short, we love this new, verbal version of Trent Reznor. Keep ‘em comin’, boy.

Reznor’s not spewing shit. Sony AUS did give his disc the shaft and Corgan is completely using the Pumpkins name because his name alone on a disc means dick.
Not sure ‘b’ is possible, given ‘a’, but point taken. In fact, if he said positive (or even neutral) things about SP — especially this version — that would be truly suspicious.
Trent is a piece of shit compared to Billy.
He was trying so so desperately to come off as “edgy” by attacking someone better than him; a tactic of enraged 9 year olds.
Get taste.

I’m glad Trent Reznor died. Waste of space.
And how could he talk about “Corporate”? He made the most polished, corporate sounding and mainstream industrial music out there. I’m sure if he lived he’d have taken up residency somewhere in a Las Vegas hotel doing 2 shows a night. Trent Reznor: The Celine Dion of Industrial Rock.
