MUNICIPAL WASTE/TROMA COLLABORATION TURNS OUT TO BE F*CKTARDED, AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY

I think I made it pretty clear how excited we were about the fact that Troma was producing the new Municipal Waste video for “Headbanger Face Rip.” Well, our buddy Nick over at The Deciblog posted the video over the weekend and all we can say… what a gyp! It’s just footage of the band intercut with clips from various Troma movies with a couple of odd shots of Sgt. Kabukiman, NYPD dancing in the background – in other words, the metal equivalent of one of those lame soundtrack videos.

I know that Municipal Waste probably had all of five bucks to make this video, but isn’t Troma supposed to specialize in high quality bad taste on a low budget? Sheesh.

Oh well. At least the song is still awesome.
