With Mosley FNM would have gone the STP way anyway. With Patton, it was a sudden new dimension and attitude. Mike Patton is so versatile that he reminds me of a chameleon or Johnny Depp in movies! Even though FNM made some really good tunes before Patton came in, it was mostly Martin and the melodic keyboards of Roddy which made it great. With Mosley FNM would have gone the STP way anyway.
