All suck and no originality makes Mudvayne a dull band.
Sorry, I don’t actually dislike Mudvayne that much (dig some of their earlier stuff), but it was way too easy.
What’s more, there’s this bit of news announcing that Mudvayne are holding a contest offering fans the opportunity to participate in writing their biography on Friendster. Yes, you read that correctly. FRIENDSTER. It’s good to know that Mudvayne have really grown and matured with the times, staying up to date with the current market trends… of 2003.
By the People, For the People is a (mostly) greatest hits collection that will drop November 27 via Epic Records.

How can people seriously criticise them that much? I quite like the new song, have to agree with tony that the intro isn’t explosive, but the rest of the song is quite awesome. As a musician of over ten years, I must say that they have written some awesome sings.
Thank you…if anyone reads the lyrics of their last two albums, it’s obvious that they are not record label drones. I don’t think Epic was thrilled about ideas like “turn off the radio, turn off the tv…” or how about “so uniterested, so unamused, disappointed in yourself to be so consumed…..BUY NOTHING, NOTHING!!!” not exactly the traditional method of “selling out” if ya ask me. But then nobody asked me.

Sorry to put my 2 (sence) in but SONY does NOT stand for Standard Oil of NY at all. The word SONY came from soni-tape which was a product of TTK, Tokyo Telecomm. It derives from the Latin word sonus which means sound. Not that any of that matters, although people should not mis educate others. I do agree that we should just send Mudvayne a check instead of the faceless corporate entities though. As I always say to everyone who bad mouths our country, leave, because no one is stopping you. I think the song is alright. It’s not their best, but far from bad. They have a new album coming out in early 08 called “Shades of Gray” and Chad Gray said it would be alot like 2002’s “The End of All Things to Come”, which is cool, because I like that album. and with all the criticism, go out and do better you fucks.
