TAKE A LEAK: AVENGED SEVENFOLD – “GUNSLINGER” (FROM AVENGED SEVENFOLD)

Avenged Sevenfold s/tThe folks over at Hasanur Blog have posted a recently leaked track of “Gunslinger” from Avenged Sevenfold’s upcoming self-titled album. Holy… shit. “Gunslinger” is another half-ballad, half-rocker like “Seize the Day” from City of Evil; it’s like somebody put Axl Rose epic vocals on top of Richie Sambora acoustic cowboy chords… and then injected just the right amount of perfectly cheesy pop-metal into it. Call them cheesy if you want, but somehow Avenged Sevenfold always manage to be cheesy in good taste… brie, jarsberg, or gruyere… no cheddar or swiss for these guys.

Avenged Sevenfold drops October 30 on Columbia.

    seriously, good track not to the level of the first 2 but you know what they are branching out. This will be like Metallica’s S-T and GN’R's UYI 1&2 for them. Eclectic.

    yea it’s not really as good as the other two tracks, and it took a while to build…the solo seemed kind of taken too…but it was still good. I doubt the album’s gonna be as good as WtF but it definately trump CoE.

    You guys are seriously dumbasses, and so is this post.
    Gunslinger is nothing like Seize the Day, its more hard rock than anything else, its just got a little bit of a Western Feel at the begginning to it.
    You guys are so stupid that you’d have to compare Seize the Day to Dear God off of the new self titled album.
