NEW TOOL DVD!!! NEW TOOL DVD!!!

There’s a new Tool DVD in the works and we’ll have it by Christmas, according to the band’s official website (thanks to MetalSucks commenter Wayne for the tip). The DVD will be called Vicarious (the title of the first single from 10,000 Days), and will be released December 18. According to Tool’s website:

My friends, we can no longer hide the terrible truth. The holidays are rapidly approaching, and with them the NEW TOOL DVD/VIDEO for VICARIOUS is scheduled to be released on DECEMBER 18th (or 19th) and will include an EXTENDED CUT, lots of BONUS MATERIAL and, of course, SPECIAL PACKAGING. Here’s a sneak preview of a working still.

There you have it. About fucking time! We’re positive the visuals and packaging will be nothing short of mind-blowing. Hopefully there will be some live footage involved, too. In the meantime, please go smoke a bowl and enjoy Kip’s post about Tool, below.
