    Production value alone makes what I’ve heard of this album better. Waking The Fallen sounded like a basement studio recording. And I know something about that, having pretty much always strived just to get to that level.

    Gotta love people who thinks they suck…great band probaly top 5 in my book. but one question why do you people have to bash bands that you dont like. just dont talk about them…Just because they dont have cookie monster vocals and death in every song means they suck…clean the cum out of your ears and listen to good music… o and i love the this album sucks answers….. did u even hear it or just select that button cuz you hate the band… at least your bar band will be taking off…….please

    I am not here to bash this band and I am happy not to comment directly on A7X, per your wishes, but I would like to respond to this claim of yours:

    Might you be engaging in a bit of narrow-minded stereotyping here yourself? Obviously not every one who doesn’t like A7X is only interested in “death”; in fact, I doubt many readers of this blog would be in that category. This blog constantly “bashes” bands like Linkin Park and Hinder and their peers. I would say rightfully so (it’s one of MS’ best qualities). Does that mean it’s just because they are narrow-minded morons who only like death metal and don’t like pop metal at all? Clearly not.

    There are simply some of us who would love to hear something from A7X that truly rose above their typical output (obviously, growling/death would not help), and yet have not seen whatever it is you guys see in them. Until then I see no reason to have greater appreciation for them than the bands this blog generally bashes. I am sure I listen to many things you would happily bash as well.

    First of all, you all need to find something better to do in your boring lives than talk shit about bands. Second of all, I agree with that guy John. If you dont like Avenged Sevenfold then i dont know what kind of crap you’re listening to because they are a really great band. Everybody thinks that their new album sucks cause they dont scream anymore but who cares? Maybe they wanted a little change. The new album is just as good as the others and all of you need to stop talking shit about Avenged because they’re awesome. And btw Waking The Fallen doesnt sound like a basement sudio recording. It’s the most amazing cd i have ever heard. I met M.Shadows and Zacky Vengeance. They’re great guys and the music that they make with their band is awesome. The End.

    This band rocks I love the sound of their music and their catchy riffs. i do agree that this new album is not as good as city of evil or waking the fallen, but it is still pretty good. i liked the song “Unbound (the wild ride)” by them on this album and a little piece of heaven was interesting. If you guys don’t like them then go back to your crappy Britney spears shit. btw Dustin you have met the band?!?! omg im so jelous.
