POLL RESULTS: THE NEW AVENGED SEVENFOLD ALBUM SUCKS… BEFORE EVEN HEARING IT!

a7x coverOnce again the people have spoken. You guys hate Avenged Sevenfold. In fact, some of you hate them so much that you added your own answer to last week’s poll to tell us that you haven’t even heard the album yet but it definitely sucks. For the poll results we’ve combined that user-added answer with our original “It sucks” answer, and the results are overwhelmingly in favor of Avenged Sevenfold sucking. We’ve also removed some other user-added answers that were useless / said the exact same thing as other answers.

    I think this is just further evidence that (A) internet polls are useless; (B) people are idiots; (C) people are useless idiots; (D) we metal/hard rock fans can be the most close-minded, useless idiots around.

    You know a lot of the time I think image gets in the way too much of music now days. I can understand not liking a certain style of music. If you don’t like music because you don’t like the people behind the instruments your getting way too involved. Who cares if Avenged Sevenfold was a Christian rock band before what they are now. Who cares if they are a bunch conservative rich boys from orange county. If you don’t like them because of they’re image go listen to N-sync or some other lame boy band. Metal is Metal and I’m giving credit where its due this new album kicks ass!!!

    The new album is good, but i dunno. It just hasn’t hooked me as much City of Evil did. They slowed it down a bit compared to COE, and i’m still not sure about it. Still a fairly solid record.

    I said it once and I ‘ll say it again. Waking the Fallen is still my favorite, City of Evil Rocks, and the new one is fucking awesome. A7X just kicks ass.

    Am I the only person who really likes Avenged Sevenfold?

    I like the new self-titled release. I don’t know if it’s as good as City of Evil…then again, I haven’t been listening to this new release for nearly 2 years…
