Although it gets a lot of flak, Stabbing the Drama is Soilwork at their absolute peak, and is completely godly (the title track may be the best song they've ever written). That one is my personal favorite. Natural Born Chaos makes for a close runner up though. Soilwork has changed their sound a lot over the years, always managing to stay one step ahead of the rest of the pack, so which Soilwork album is best for you is really going to be one of those things where you'll just have to see what clicks with you the most. I think their whole discography is worth your time.

I'm going to see that concert in December. I fully expect to get trampled in a pit by the time Lamb of God comes on.

@ the_0ne:

I'd start with Natural Born Chaos (~2002). It was the first Soilwork album that incorporated melody in a major way, and Devin Townsend produced it. It's a really, really good album.

You should get Steelbath Suicide, Chainheart Machine, and A Predator's Portrait, in that order. Those are their best albums. The last 2 or 3 albums have been *meh*.

I'm looking to buy Soilwork album. They have so many albums out though, which one seems to be their best? I love the thrash and Speed sound (no pun intended), but harmony never hurt any song. So, which one should I start with??
