TWO TOURS YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT

All That Remains will tour next year with Chimaira (pictured above left in winter coats). That’s a pretty good bill – I’d say you should never, ever, under any circumstances miss a chance to see Chimaira live, and I’m told that All That Remains are good live, too, except that I’ve seen them twice and they haven’t been that great either time. But I guess I’d give them a third chance.
Alas, Five Finger Death Suck will be the openers. I guess we can at least be grateful that since they’re going on first, it will be easy to miss them.
Meanwhile, Throwdown (pictured above right, also in winter coats – be proud of me for choosing a theme and sticking with it) are doing a tour with Soilwork and Through the Eyes of the Dead. War of Ages will be the openers; for anyone unfamiliar with them, they’re an above average metalcore band and probably the best Christian metal band this side of post-Luti-Kriss, pre-Ross Robinson Norma Jean.
ANYWAY, I’m sure you can find tour dates through the usual channels, as I’m way too lazy to post them here.

Neither of those touches the Megadeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job for a Cowboy tour
I’m most excited about catching Nile, Nachtmystium, Suicide Silence, The Agonist, and Faceless on my birthday in March 2008.
Apparently, this tour went up on Pollstar in the last 24 hours:

Chimaira needs to hire a lyricist. On another topic related to the last post, I saw the Chicago run of the Job For A Cowboy/Behemoth tour and Behemoth totally schooled them. That band is pure hype.
mmmmmmm Behemoth
The JFAC/Behemoth tour would’ve been flawless if they switched around JFAC and Behemoth’s slots
Agreed. If they switched those slots it would have been ten times better. I just picked Zos Kia Cultus—brutal record, holy fuck.
