I bought tickets to this gigantour mostly wanting to see high on fire and cob but I ended up being totally blown away by Megadeth. They put on the best show of the night by FAR. Feeling the arena shake as the entire crowd chanted along with Peace Sells just made the night. Oh, and their new(ish) guitarist is pretty amazing too.

Definitely don't think Megadeth can follow In Flames. Children of Bodom - probably, but only because CoB are younger and Toronto didn't give them a lot of attention at last year's stop with Lamb of God/Slayer.

Funny enough, the only band I'm not looking forward to seeing is Megadeth..which I plan on leaving the moment In Flames(mmmmmmmm) gets off stage. Kinda like when I went to Korn's Family Values Tour to see Trivium and Atreyu, stayed long enough to see Joey Jordison waste his talent... walk out on stage with Korn and then left.

Anyway, High on Fire and In Flames will be wicked. JFC and COB will be fine I'm sure.

JFAC is playing after High on Fire because they sold more records. Thats how its determined. Nothing more, nothing less.

And, I DEFINITELY think that Megadeth brings it way more than In Flames. I went to the last Gigantour, with LoG and Opeth opening, and I think those are 2 bands that are much harder to follow, but Megadeth brought it and then some! They played almost all of Rust In Peace and overall all old stuff. They are extremely good live.

Ultimately, I think this is a great lineup, and I will surely be checkin this mofo out

Job for a Cowboy aside, this is a GREAT lineup. Anything to introduce more people to High on Fire is a good thing.
