ILL NINO ALBUM RELEASE DELAYED AGAIN; 1 FAN CRIES IN REMORSE

Tuesday, January 8th, 2008 at 5:24pm by Vince Neilstein

Ill NinoIn the “(hed)p.e. level of suck” department, Ill Nino has delayed the release of their new album Enigma for at least the third time. Originally scheduled for late Summer, then pushed back to October 9, then to today (Jan. 8), and now delayed indefinitely, the band blames the continued setbacks on their label, Cement Shoes Records.

I think I just heard the faint groan of Ill Nino’s one remaining fan. Oh wait, no, that was just Axl farting.

This band is so lame. Adding a guy to bang around on timables doesn’t hide the metalcore, guys.

  2. Carlos says:

Anyone who listens to this band on a regular basis should be beaten with a mallet.

  3. Nick says:

Don’t even link this to metalcore, theres alot of decent metalcore out there, this is nu metal garbage.

  4. Vitruvian Ape says:

maybe they would be more liked if they went to power chord academy!

I’m not kidding that ad was on a banner on metal injection, and is so mindblowingly awesome my dick is still hard. You have to watch the video, i’m sold!!

Sorry for the off-post, but really who wants to talk about ill nino?

Ok, I gotta say that this camp blows balls because of intent and follow through, but the idea of a rock n roll summer camp is awesome. The problem with this academy is that it lasts 6 days. You can’t do shit in 6 days except patronize the people attending and music in general. Clearly, this camp is an over-commercialized money making scam. That being said, imagine how cool the concept of a camp that actually lasted a whole summer would be.

    1) You’ll have enough time to actually really improve on your instrument. If you are surrounded by “counselors”, aka musicians who could teach you, and were encouraged to practice your instrument every day for several hours everyday, you would become a real musician pretty fast

    2) Had access to all kinds of instruments, gear, recording equipment, and expertise that you would not otherwise have. This would allow novice musicians the oppurtunity to play around with things that they could never normally afford.

    3) This is not to mention you would be surrounded by other like minded people who could broaden your musical horizons and also create new music with you. One of the biggest complaints of a musician is that he/she can’t find other musicians to play with. This would certainly solve that problem

    4) There is a built in audience of people who care about music, or have rich parents, both of which are great for aspiring bands.

I mean, there are more positives that have nothing to do with music such as it just being fun, a self esteem builder, and most likely a hot bed for sexual activity. All that being said, i wish this was a available when I was younger instead of all those basketball camps I went to. If i knew id turn into a fat lazy slob I never woudl’ve bothered with sports and went straight to metal where fat, hairy bastards belong.

this band ain’t THAT bad. geesh. i wouldn’t go out of my way for them but if they come on my sirius27 i don’t change it either. on a 10 scale they’re a 5. i’ve got 3 of their songs on mp3, arrastra, red rain and god save us. those are ok songs.

oh and please start insulting me viciously, brutally and unforgivingly for not absolutely hating EVERYTHING they’ve EVER done, because…. well, this IS the internet. the prime spot for idiots to attack those with a different opinion. =)
