NEW IN FLAMES SINGLE COMING IN MARCH

“The Mirror’s Truth,” the first single from In Flames’ forthcoming A Sense of Needing a Better Album Title, will apparently see release on March 7. The cover art (above) comes from some dude named Alex Pardee, who apparently also did the album art. I have no idea what the art “means” in the larger sense – large chicken headed men are really just sad In Flames fans? – but, frankly, I’m not nearly high enough to care right now.

In any case, this single is a European-only release, which means the rest of us will just have to download it illegally. Thanks, Nuclear Blast!

    That seems to be the message I get every time I read comments on something about In Flames.

    But it’s ok, because I’m sure Underproduced-Ultra Kvlt-Mega Necro-No one’s ever heard of us and never will but that’s ok because our fans don’t want us to make money because then we’re emo nu-metal sellouts-band #564 won’t dissapoint fans with their next release.

    Oh wait, they probably will.

    All that aside, March is too goddamn far away, I want the song now!

    The art is very interesting.. art nuevau influence in the style.. perhaps?… It’s not my favorite style or colour combination though. Okay, I just don’t like the album cover, period. Seems like it was something that was taken out of a children’s book. Or something scene children would cream their pants over.

    Anyway, if the music sounds as bad album cover looks. Oh well, it’ll be my delete key that will take care of that. Let’s hope it does come down to that.
