    I wrote a poem:

    Heard the leak
    Album’s weak
    Clint is gone
    Hang it up

  • Mick

Ignore the first post – after a couple of weaker releases Hope and Sorrow is not only a return to form but possibly one of the bands best albums yet. Clint is gone and from the sounds of Hope and Sorrow he can stay away!!!!!

Scapegoat / Fear / Walk Away / Inside… and many of the others (including the ballads!), all massive and worthy of anything the band have released in the past.
I haven’t been so taken by a 7Dust album since Animosity… Seasons was too commercial Next lacked direction and Alpha was too focused on being hard…

For the most part Hope and Sorrow has ditched the predictable song structures and mixed things up again like Home and Animosity… but is a much darker album and is better for it!

    A must buy!

The album is awesome and I’m so excited that Clint is back. I was not a huge fan of Sonny Mayo’s sound. Can’t wait to hear the new material when the original Sevendust records their next album!!!

I agree, even though this album still has Sonny Mayo playing, the band has really started exploring their creativity. The last two albums were not bad, but alot of the songs sounded the same. This album also features one of today’s best guitarist Mark Tremonti (don’t believe me, just listen to Alter Bridge’s new album) and one of today’s best vocalist Myles Kennedy. Now that Clint is back, I’m sure we will see another Animosity on the horizon. And yes Brett, you are a retard. Go back to your Justin Timberlake fan site.
