yeah i saw them open up for maiden in rosemont IL and as soon as there amps fed back 6000 fans threw there middle fingers up in the air and all you could hear was MAIDEN MAIDEN MAIDEN. but i suppose unless it’s priest slayer or motorhead ect. there gonna boo. but scream aim fire aint all that bad its a deffinate improvment

I don’t dislike this band. I’ve been around the Metal block over and over for about twenty-five years, but I can see why they appeal to the kids and their music, while not at all original, really isn’t bad. Formulaic, yes. There are very few Metal bands that aren’t. But I just don’t understand the mook mentality of booing a band. It takes a real fucking neanderthal to pull shit like that. Get over yourself already. This band is up there trying to make a living and playing its heart out. If you don’t like it, go get a goddamn beer. But don’t act like a complete ignoramus, prick. I’d rather hear the shittiest band in the world than your annoying “boos,” asshole.

I guess the thing that gets me about this band is that, to my ears, they sound so formulaic. I’ve tried to give them a chance with the new single, but I just don’t hear one original thing about them that make me say “holy shit!”.

With that being said, can we get a follow up interviews with Greg Puciato or Dan Briggs? :)

I saw them in New York opening for Maiden. I gave them 15 minutes, I didn’t boo or anything. They are the first opening band I ever walked out on. I couldn’t stand their auditory diarhea. I am sure that they have fans, that is why when they headline, they don’t get booed. But opening for other bands….

That guy sounded like a douche, and I’m not just saying that because I don’t really like BFMV. MS asks why they’re more successful in Europe than U.S. and he responds:

“I feel like Poison was a great record, great songs on it. It was a great first record for us to put out, to kind of introduce ourselves really. I feel people connected with it because of the great melodies, the great songs, really. It was about time metal bands starting writing songs and not being afraid of what they write.”

WE GET IT, you like your own music. This whole interview the guy was just complaining about the fact that they got booed opening for Maiden and tuting his own horn–this guy’s got some serious self esteem issues. It just seems like this band takes itself too seriously–you play metalcore, its not revelatory.

PS – This is about as close as I could’ve imagined to my prediction that Vince and Axl were goin to interview the 3 Days Grace drummer cause they couldn’t get to the frontman. Cmon guys, this band sucks and you couldnt even get one of the guys who actually writes the songs!
