PROTEST THE HERO IS GIVING AWAY NEW ALBUM FORTRESS FOR FREE DOWNLOAD!

Protest the Hero free download

Well, we’re actually not sure if this is a clerical error or what… but the Amazon Music Store is giving away Protest the Hero’s new record Fortress — which comes out today — for free download. If this was intentional, it’s really fucking cool of the band / Vagrant Records to offer the album for free to the fans and potential new listeners. If this was a mistake, well… then I’m pretty sure we just blew up the spot. Best of all, since it’s at Amazon it’s DRM-free and at 256kbps, a much higher rip rate than iTunes. If you don’t know what that means, crawl out from under that rock you’ve been living under.

Go on over to the Amazon Music Store and download Fortress for free. Who knows how long this will last!

    is there any chance of you guys writing a review of this killer-album? i’d really like to hear your thoughts on this.
    IMO it’s not as catchy as Kezia, but i had to give that one a couple o’ hearings too before it caught me, so i just continue to listen to Fortress all fuckin day…
    Thanks for another hint at damn fine musical masterpieces which i probably would never have stumbled upon without you!

    someone at Amazon obviously thought that “Thou Shallt Not Get Music For Free!”
    hope enough of you folks made that deal in time, because if i’m not totally wrong, the band WILL be paid for those “sold” songs, because it was Amazon’s fault… I really do hope so!

    you have to install there mp3 downloader but thats a small price to pay for 2 free GREAT records

    Nag-damn-it! Doesn’t look as though us Brits can get hold of the tracks through Amazon.com as it requires a State for the address, which clearly we don’t have and can’t use from their “helpful” drop-down list. Shite, and the album’s been delayed release here until next week. Need, need, need, need!
