BLESSED BY A BROKEN SUCK ISSUE VIDEO UPDATE

Canadian metal emo-punk-core-whatever band Blessed By a Broken Heart, which Axl summarily described as “the screamo/metalcore band Rod and Todd Flanders might’ve started,” have issued a video update from their European tour. After watching their video update in shock and awe, I re-watched to figure out what I could make fun of for this post. But then I realized, well, the whole thing is fucking ridiculous. I’m sure the legions of Hot Topic kids who love this band will defend them in earnest in our comments section and the rest of you will take care of them. This should be fun.

    Maroon and Architects are not that bad, kinda funny to see this band with them. Reminds me of when I saw funeral for a friend open for Cave-In and Everytime I Die(5 years ago).

    yea but funeral for a friend was moderately cool 5 years ago. I will defend the album “7 ways to scream your name” to the end. It did go a bit downhill after that though…and I recognize they are not a seminal band like cave in–but really who is?

    I think they are hilarious in a good way. Yea there lyrics are awful and they aren’t doing anything terribly original but lets be honest sometimes you just need to let loose and pound some beers and in that situation a some 80′s Hair metal revival can hit the spot.
