NBC. 12:35 am tonight/tomorrow morning. Greg Puciato has vowed to burn Conan’s desk down; even if he doesn’t, it should be interesting (I got five buck that says he runs into the audience and scares the living shit out of some tourists from Nebraska).

It’s gonna be special. Watch it with someone you love.

Chris Brown – Exclusive – Kiss Kiss, With You, Take You Down, Throwed

Chris Brown for the construction of an entire career, growing from a temporary replacement for an undeniably big pop star. It seals the deal with Exclusive, an all-grown-up album on a level with Justin Timberlake’s beneficiaries, Rihanna’s Good Girl Gone Bad, or even Bobby Brown’s King of Stage. “With You” is the convincer, even if you immediately recognize that producers Stargate was just trying to roll-out “Irreplaceable” one more time – Brown groans on the acoustic guitar loop a poignant account with R & B-wave

Alicia Keys – No One (As I am) – As I Am is the third studio album by American R&B/soul singer Alicia Keys, and was released on November 13, 2007. It features appearances by John Mayer, Marsha Ambrosius, Linda Perry.

Album by Rihanna: Good Girl Gone Bad found in Billboard Singles Chart

The album has spawned 3 top 10 hits and 1 top 20 hit in the United States. Any idea what they’re going to play?! I hope it’s more along the lines of ‘sunshine the werewolf’ and not ‘black bubblegum’. not that i don’t love the poppy DEP stuff, it’s just i want to see them go NUTS!

    Milk Lizard’s my guess.

    @ contempt.media: Yes.

    @ Niklas: What?

I really wouldn’t be suprised if he did either of those two things. I saw them in rochester last week and he jumped up on the bar and started punching all the lights hanging from chains into the ceiling fans. It was pretty awesome.

Greg announced at one of the shows that they will be playing “Black Bubblegum” on Conan. I’m not sure if they’ll stay true, but that’s what I’ve heard.

Numerous bands have declined or canceled Conan/Leno appearances because those shows are operating under the WGA strike. Unlike Letterman and Craig Ferguson, which are back with writers because Worldwide Pants owns both shows and negotiated their own deal, Conan and Leno returned under pressure from NBC and to help the technical crew and craftspeople get back to work.

Look at the guests on these shows since they returned. It’s D-List trash, the likes of Hulk Hogan bouncing around between Leno and Conan for extended interviews. It is in the interest of the corporate mongrels to put on as normal a show as possible during the strike to keep ratings up. Bands like DEP, which attract a sizable following, are helping to make this happen.

Anway, hope they play “Sunshine The Werewolf” and shift a few more units at the expense of the creative community that makes outlets such as Conan possible.

It was “Black Bubblegum.” Unfortunately, the sound mix was terrible. Maybe it was just the cable or something, but the sound became really muffled when DEP started playing. I was disappointed.
