I loved that part with “I wrote it” :-) It is fabulous! I didn’t know it. Anyway, I think that one of the biggest mistakes people in a group make is believing that if the group works, they will make it on their own also. Well, not always…
That is why synergy exists…the group works better than individual parts.

Gilby didn’t play on any GNR cd’s though right? he was hired for the illusion tour so he never actually wrote any material with guns… So aside from those solo cds and rockstar the band nonsense, we have et to hear him accomplish much as a writer in a band.

These are valid points, fellas, but I’d argue that gigging with Nancy Sinatra and, especially, appearing on ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA pretty much even the score between Monsieurs Clarke and McKagan.
