ATTENTION METALCORE BANDS: FREE LASER TATTOO REMOVAL NEXT MONDAY IN BEVERLY HILLS

sleeve tattooAccording to a press release, Dr. Tattoff is offering one day of free laser tattoo removal next Monday, February 25th in Beverly Hills, “for anyone you know who has considered having a tattoo removed but were concerned about the price.”

The promotion, dubbed “Operation Ink-Off,” is valid from 8am to 8pm and is good for up to six inches of tattoo removal. Sorry, but they will not be able to remove Fred Durst’s penis.

Metalcore scenesters take note, because seriously, when the current trends fade and you’re stuck with two full sleeves of dated artwork, you’re gonna wish you’d taken the trip up from Orange County and gotten ‘em removed without spending thousands.

@ McWeen: Google Images, typed in “sleeve tattoo.” I don’t know whose it is, but it’s terrible.

    godbless google!

I’m not sure if people should have to walk around their whole lives with the shame of a limp biscuit tattoo their whole lives and maybe laser removal takes some of the joy (for me) from life. Or maybe people shouldn’t be punished for being stupid at age 18.

Slight digression, when I was in high school tattoos were all the rage and I knew a kid that went out on his 18th birthday and got a tattoo. He didn’t really know what he wanted but loved hockey, so he got kermit the frog with a hockey stick. He regretted it within a week.

ps, laser removal cannot remove white pigments. So if that guy used any white ink in his clouds or bunny face, they really are forever.

Intersting! The only problem with offering one day of free tattoo removal, you will still have to pay for your future treatments. It seems tattoo removal can take up to 10 treatments. Does anyone know if Dr. Tattoof is going to allow those who start their free tattoo removal session on Monday follow up with their additional treatments for free too? If so, THAT IS AN AWESOME DEAL!!! Sign me up!
