@ Wayne: I have read the script for the movie version of THE DIRT and I can virtually guarantee that they are going to fuck it up. It was written by Rich Wilkes, who I assume was hired b/c he wrote AIRHEADS… but he also wrote XXX. So, the moral of the story is, you get what you pay for.

I can say without smirk or irony, that “The Dirt” was one of the most enjoyable reads I’ve had in my life. Beautifully structured and extremely absorbing, especially all the stuff about Mick Mars.

I hope they don’t fuck the movie up. It’s got loads of potential. Is Larry Charles still planning on directing it? Hope the fuck so.

All that said, I’m not sure I’ll bother with Bret’s auto-bio, unless I’m in the mood to read the phrase “I have to admit, I was a little turned on” over and over again.
