DAYLIGHT DIES TO RELEASE NEW RECORD IN JUNE, CONTINUE PRETENDING TO BE SWEDISH

30

Daylight DiesDaylight Dies aren’t Swedish, but they may as well be; they’re even mixing (and I believe recording as well) their new album at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden. The North Carolinans’ brand of doomy melodeath is distinctly Scandinavian in sound, and they’re even touring with legendary Swedish doomsters Candlemass in the States in May. Lost to the Living, the band’s third record, is set for a June 25 on Candelight Records, and we couldn’t be more excited. Their 2006 release Dismantling Devotion is haunting, dark, and enchanting metal that I couldn’t stop spinning on my iPod once I got my hands on it.

After the jump, the full list of the Candlemass / Daylight Dies U.S. tour dates.
