RUMOR MILL: MOTLEY CRUE TO HEADLINE ROCKLAHOMA SUNDAY NIGHT
Friday, February 29th, 2008 at 5:00pm by Vince NeilsteinThis just in from an anonymous source close to the festival negotiations, exclusive to MetalSucks: Motley Crue are confirmed to be the Sunday headliners for this year’s Rocklahoma festival in Pryor, OK, July 10-13. Additionally, Krokus are no longer scheduled to play the event; all official Krokus news has been removed from the Rocklahoma forums by the admins. Chew on that over the weekend.
More Motley and less Krokus……both good ideas
Too bad to heard about Krokus, not that I’m going to Rocklahoma anyway. I saw Krokus 2 years ago and they were amazing live. Motley is ok. I wonder how bad Vince is going to suck live, and who’s going to play drums.
From what I understand–somehow–Tommy Lee is still in the band.
And yeah, Vince will suck live. Mick Mars will rule.
Like Motley are yearning to be part of a ’80s hair band festival, which is all Rocklahoma is. If you have a mullet, party down like it’s 1985, drive a Camaro and wear cut off shorts, then Rocklahoma is for you!
