Ever since Bonham died in 1980, Plant seems to have developed an attitude of ever-increasing disdain for the band he was once in, as well as for those millions of us who loved them and their music.

He’s made it more than obvious that he holds loyal Zeppelin fans in very low regard, which is a shame considering we’re the people who have provided him with enough wealth over the years so that he can afford to turn down 100?/200?/300? million (if you can believe such stupid figures).

Plant is clearly an arrogant, self-obsessed, washed-up old wanker with far too much of our money in the bank already. Perhaps it’s way past time that Zep fans bid him farewell once and for all as he wanders off into Bluegrass Hell.

Wow, I am shocked that anyone would actually consider a bands legacy to be better WITHOUT SEEING THEM LIVE. How can a band have any true legacy for you if you don’t even fucking see them live. I think that is when the best memories relating to a band are made.

Oh and to those who bash on them being old, what do you think about Robert Plant’s new stuff… He is old AND putting out new music. I think thats a double whammy of shit.

If anything there image is more tarnished now than ever before because they did a gay, exclusive concert that just pisses me off, and now I look at Robert Plant as a bitch who wants to push his new material in the spot light of denying a LZ tour.

Yeah…it’s always sooo much better when legendary bands with the good fortune not to be DEAD….DON’T PLAY!

Great music is always best the LESS IT’S actually performed for the fans to enjoy.

The more a living legend continues to perform, the more they “tarnish their legacy”.

(Country side projects, though… “Thank fucking God!”)

How does that make sense….?

I hate this “Why don’t they just stop playing?” argument, which I also hear constantly applied to other ‘old’ bands..
Such as Maiden, Sabbath, Priest and of course the ubiquitous Stones….

I hope ALL their craggy old asses keep rocking til they have to drag the cadavers off the stage….
