PREVIEW OF THE NEW GOD FORBID ALBUM FROM THE STUDIO

God Forbid have posted the latest edition of GFTV. In this episode we get a look at the band working in the studio on pre-production for their next record. From the brief clips of new material we hear in the video, the new stuff definitely sounds different, and I mean that in the best of ways.

    swear to god i have had this album for about a month now and its atrocious. it really sounds like they just use the same song making formula over and over and over again. i lost all respect for god forbid when i heard it, its really just terrible. im sure that the posers who CANT comprehend more complex metal (i.e. Cephalic Carnage, Psyopus, Animosity) will eat this shit up though. fuck i am getting really sick of these sing songy choruses with simple breakdowns

    @ Chris: How the hell have you heard an album that’s still being recorded? Did you hear DEMOS, perhaps?

    For that matter, can’t you like GF AND Cephalic Carnage? I know I do…

    i guess it must be demos… but these were full songs with full production value (at least to my ears). trust me, i have heard all there previous stuff and used to like it, i guess i just kinda outgrew the whole metalcore thing (with the exception of Darkest Hour, Bleeding Through and AILD). I heard it, and it sounds like the same shit they’ve given us over and over again.
