Dude, I’m not ragging on Cryptopsy because really I have no strong feelings about this band one way or the other, but what is up with their video for “The Pestilence That Walketh In Darkness (Psalm 91:5-8)?” I get that it’s about a psalm – I mean, it does say it right there in the title, after all – but why the fuck is this dude standing in the middle of a swamp reading the fucking Bible?

Also, can we have a moratorium of people rolling their eyes into the backs of their heads in a metal video? I don’t think that shit has been scary since The Exorcist.

    Yeah, Cryptopsy are (were? They have a hot keyboardist in the band now. Name me one awesome band with a hot, female keyboardist. Bleeding Through? Abigail Williams? Check and mate.) the shit. Heaviest live show I’ve ever seen. And no, it was not in a swamp.
