SO THE WORST REALLY WAS YET TO COME

Christian metalcore/screamo/whatever act Still Remains are breaking up after their headlining gig at the upcoming Cornerstone Festival. A statement reads in part:

“It’s been an amazing run but we are done for personal reasons. No, we don’t hate each other or want to punch each other in the face. It’s just time for us to move on to different things in our lives.”

So, no really juicy gossip there. Unless someone knows something we don’t, in which case they should e-mail us at news [at] metalsucks.net and dish.

ANYWAY, I never really liked this band – in fact, the word “mediocre” immediately springs to mind when I think of them. But I know they had their fans, including one Mr. Vince Neilstein. So to help those of you who dug ‘em struggle through the mourning process, here’s their video for “The Worst is Yet to Come.”

Let’s be fair now, I think I consistently also described this band as mediocre. They had their moments. Too bad they don’t still remain… ahhh hahaha.

“Of Love and Lunacy” is a fantastic album. Their new album was very mediocre.
