This sucks and she sings false. Damn, where did the 80′ies and 90′ies underground metal attitude go? People took their music serious which spawned countless classics within the heavy, thrash, black and death genre. Now all these new bands will be forgotten within a few years due to the fact that their is no integrity. It’s all about just belonging to some scene and try to be rebels or “special”. The music itself isn’t the motivation for most which puts them in the same category as mainstream pop. The only problem with the trying to be rebels is that it’s kind of hard to upstage for example the old black metal scene when it comes to extremes. Both musically and in the real world :P

I just laugh because an idiot like this absolutely despises Black Tide being on Interscope and a major label “forcing” success on a band. Black Tide’s members might only be 15 years old and they haven’t paid their dues, or earned any of the fame they have but at LEAST, at LEAST they don’t suck as bad as this band.

This dicksuck is actually PUSHING a talentless scene band like IWRESTEDABEARONCE, that clearly knows absolutely nothing about music and is all about a faggy gimmick….and about faggy gimmick, I mean it literally.

IWRESTLEDABEARONCE is the very definition of a crappy scene band that only a 14 year old rebellious kid (or an idiot) could get into.

Fuck ALL the haters on this site, SO THE FUCK WHAT if this band does not sound like real pure grindcore, they fucking rule and their shows kick ass. And despite niggas not getting the real picture, they still have mad fun playing their music and not worrying about your bullshit. Obviously, this band does not give a shit about whats conventional or about what defines music. Do any of you retards have realize that this band MIGHT be joking somtimes. I mean regular grindcore sound crazy enough already, why not make it even more insane. This band fuzes alot of sound togethor, and has a cool breakdown every now and then, and somehow makes it all harmonic to a chicks voice when its not doing its grindcore thing. Thats pretty awesome.

They make enough money selling their cds and merch at shows to pay the bills and pay themselves and have fun while they rack up huge hits on myspace and xm/sirrus. They all have had other bands, otherjobs, and or economics degrees even – steven guitar tap god !! They thrive on the energy of the crowd and the crowd goes apeshit for them right back. Like OK computer meets Death meets PBR tallboys it will be neat to see how their sound evolves once the acid kicks-in. .

Ross, I’m not too sure that metal is dying. Unless you were referring to grind, which isn’t dying either. There are a lot of serious musicians who respect their music. Unlike IWABO.

For anyone who thinks highly of this band, and that no-one else can do this better… check out Birdflesh, a grind band that utilises and combines humour and grind perfectly.

After re-listening to the EP the other day, I can see where people who don’t like this are coming from. The band does not take itself seriously. However, I think that it makes it what makes it fun to listen to. Some of the riffs are recycled, and I don’t know if I could listen to a whole CD of this. Two things I definitely do like: the band’s ability being able to switch smoothly, in most cases, between a heavy and a smooth/softer sound. A lot of bands fuck this up, here it happens almost without me realizing it. Also, there are some good keyboards and subtle samples buried in there if you listen that make songs more enjoyable that aren’t obvious upon first listen.
