Sebastian Bach w/ Velvet Revolver

Velvet Revolver drummer Matt Sorum posted on his blog a picture that a fan sent him of Sebastian Bach photoshopped into Velvet Revolver, fulfilling Scott Weiland’s pick to fill the now-vacant vocalist spot. But the picture is only an afterthought; with VR seemingly in shambles, Sorum’s focus is now on his fashion line SorumNoce; “Been hanging At my new store. Biz is good selling lots of stuff, please come by if in the area. Will be offering shirts i can sign if I’m around if you can’t afford the leather and stuff.”

Because what we really need is another overpriced t-shirt.

    Baz is totally too much rock for VR. I don’t think it would work. They’re understated and cool… he’s partying like it’s 1992 (and totally awesome at it).

    Bach is so over and the remaining VR guys are better than that, they’d be better off with someone that hasn’t been in the spotlight before and is good raw talent that will make a name for himself.

    These guys do not have the patience to break in an FNG. It would never get off the ground. They need a wiley veteran who is not the least bit interested in controlling himself or his band. Scotty didn’t work out cause he’s a hothouse flower.

    put Baz in, then leave that collection of dudes alone in a room with enough booze and weed, and the immaturity alone would turn out a record at least as good as anything Buckcherry did.

    I mean, whattadya want fucking Stairway to Heaven?> Let em go put together an album (yes i said album) with enough balls not to sound out of place as the soundttack to ‘Last Action Hero’ and I’m happy.

    There’s nobody else out there that can keep up with Matt Duff and Slash in the ‘appetite’ dept. so waste time? Get high, get drunk, and go write us something that rocks.
