ARE DEAD TO FALL DEAD?

So my RSS subscription to Lambgoat now shows the headline “Dead to Fall Breaks Up,” but the story isn’t actually on the site. There’s also no mention of the break-up on any other metal news site (at least that I’ve seen as I type this), or, for that matter, on the band’s MySpace page or their label’s website.

So was the headline an error? I won’t exactly be heartbroken if the band is done, but a mere two months after they released their latest album, Are You Serious? (read my review here), seems like an inopportune time to call it a day.

We’ll keep you updated… in the meantime, here’s the band’s most recent video, for the song “Major Rager.”

    Sucks… real bad. Excellent live band and cool dudes all around.

    Pretty disappointing to hear. While they weren’t a great band by any means, that were enjoyable. They have very good humor from what I can tell. I was hoping to see them with Arsonists Get All The Girls in May but it won’t happen now. :(

    Also, does anyone else find it ironic that they just released that video? I’m sure last night wasn’t the best night of there lives.
