I was walking to work this morning, listening to All Shall Perish’s The Price of Existence – one of my favorite albums of 2006 and a shining example of what the so-called “deathcore” genre is capable of when the players are at the top of their game – when I started to wonder why I haven’t heard rumblings of this band doing a new album.

Well, I checked out their MySpace page to if there were any updates, and, lo and behold!, they are working on a new album. So add the new All Shall Perish offering to my “most anticipated of ’08″ list.

For those of you who don’t know this band, here’s their video for “Eradication,” from the aforementioned The Price of Existence. If you dig the song, definitely check out the rest of the disc; this album absolutely slays from start to finish.
