HSB walked out because the promoter apparently sucks. But I stayed for three bands, and The Binary Code was the best one. They have a new vocalist, but that guy wasn't quite ready for live performances, so they just played instrumental. By golly, did they sound awesome or what? But I stayed for three bands, and The Binary Code was the best one. They have a new vocalist, but that guy wasn’t quite ready for live performances, so they just played instrumental. By golly, did they sound awesome or what?

We hung out with the dudes afterwards at a restaurant, and they totally knew their shit about music too. Not theory, but just music. Very passionate aura coming from those guys. Funny as can shit too. Why isn’t this band signed? I interviewed them...but it never was released. They had so many line-up changes and problems, its good to see they are being recognized now. I hope they can find a vocalist.
