I’m with you, TJ. I’ve only seen Lamb of God twice, and both times it was like an atom bomb going off. Once was last year’s Ozzfest, where they were so above and beyond anyone else on the mainstage—Ozzy included—that it was no contest. The previous time was at Unholy Alliance where they somehow managed to steal the show from Slayer.

LOG needa a year off Sacrament was a WEAK followup to NAG.

I have to disagree with the guys on here saying LOG isn’t a good live band.

I’ve seen them probably 10 or 11 times over the years, and they are one of the few bands who brings it, every single time. Never seen these guys put on a bad show.

@david: Word. I’ve seen Kerry King interviewed and LOG were mentioned, he said the same thing. Something along the lines of, “I just don’t get them. They’re a great band, but when you see them on stage, it’s like they’re at rehearsal or something.”

All the 14 year olds in the crowd when I’ve seen them, though, have always gone nuts.

Never heard Nippon before.. that’s a bad ass track. New American Gospel was a fucking ridiculous album from beginning to end. It reminds me of how much Randy’s voice used to suck though lol. The guitars are sick as fuck as always.

There’s no way a new album from LOG can suck after what they did on Sacrament though. It wasn’t the best, but it really showed the band figuring out new ways to do things while still sounding like Lamb Of God, and no one else. Mark Morton and Chris Adler are easily 2 of my favorite musicians. Not to say they don’t all contribute, but those guys are obviously the driving force in the band.

Well, hopefully in their downtime Halo of Locusts will FINALLY put out their release.

ALSO

when they do decide to enter the studio, I hope they leave the Machine at home and empty with intentions of bring back the Crypt Keeper…or get someone like James Murphy to help bring the shredtastic LOG.
