MOTLEY CRUE CLIP FOR “SAINTS OF LOS ANGELES” IS NO ARSIS VIDEO
Wednesday, April 16th, 2008 at 6:02pm by Axl RosenbergSo I jumped the gun a little bit and posted that awesome new David Brodsky-directed Arsis video for “We Are the Nightmare” before it was supposed to be out in the world… so we had to take it down (I’d make one of those frowny faces the kids are so fond of these days, but I’m not retarded). So in its place, here is the considerably less cool video for the new Motley Crue song, “Saints of Los Angeles.”
Don’t ask… just watch the fuckin’ Motley Crue video below.
But, hey, at least it has some cleavage in it. And now, I’m talking about Vince Neil’s.

Dear Crue,
Bands should not rewrite old songs and put new titles on them.
Sincerely,
Post-1988 Aerosmith
I’m surprised you didn’t comment on Papa Roach’s singer (and looks like Buckcherry’s too) in the video. I think they sing on the chorus.
Jesus christ put the Arsis video back up!
haha, i have that arsis video because i buy records. and it does rule. sorry james malone, for almost falling in a giant hole or whatever. you made a sweet video!
god that video sucked. and you dumbass, the version on here is the david brodsky “update” of the arsis video.
This is an old band sounding like they always have….time is coming for you too, you pretentious fuckwads….
is this from 1989??!
old bands dont have to sound like they always have…its called being creative…so go be creative and fuck yourself

Arsis has posted the video on their own YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyrON-xUvxs
I think it’s fair game now, no?
well, i thought the song was awesome. it sounds like something off of dr. feelgood, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
So I was at the gym today. Not some muscle jerk-off gym, but one at a community college. They have t.v.s set in front of the treadmills, and everyonce in awhile they will have the channel on some country bullshit. GAC me thinks, but who cares. I was listening to some Lamb of God, not paying attention to the telly until I saw a video for a song called “XXL” that had Tommy Lee dressed as a doctor delivering a baby and his name was… wait for it… Dr. Feelgood.
Nikki-Tommy-&Mick sound great on this. They’re not reinventing the wheel, but that’s now what we like about them (those of us that do). My immediate reaction once Vince started singing was that he’s the weak link and that the lyrics are ridiculous, and all of that is true…but these lyrics aren’t any stupider than Wild Side or Too Fast for Love, and Vince doesn’t sound any worse here than he ever did before. It’s just that they’re older and it’s harder to listen to coming out of guys who aren’t in their 20’s and early 30s.
As silly as Papa Roach and all the other Crue Fest bands are, I think it’s sort of cool how they’ve tied those guys into this song and the tour and the way they handled the “Big Announcement” this week. As long as they don’t try to get cute and just be Motley Crue, the album may be pretty satisfying. You know what you’re getting. If you like big riffs and a catchy arena ready chorus, and the band delivers on that front, then it’s criticism proof. Haters are going to do what they do , no matter what happens.
This Album Is fantastic, Bring back Rock, I am so sick of the shit of today, Talking over someone elses music is not real tallent. The Crue has proven themselves they are rockers You are all WANKERS
