GET ANOTHER TASTE OF ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS OF 2008

Vince and I have heard Nachtmystium’s new album Assassins, and believe us when we tell you it’s gonna end up on a lot of people’s top ten lists at the end of this year. It is, simply put, an awesome, awesome album.
Back in February the band gave fans a little taste of what they could expect when they posted a new track, “True Enemy,” on their MySpace page; well, I guess the band realized it left listeners drooling for more, because now the eight minute plus title track is also on their MySpace page.
No clever witticisms here. Just check it out. Seriously. You fucking owe it to yourself.
Century will release Assassins on June 10 here in the States; the rest of the world gets it via Candlelight on June 23.

This band is so goddamn good it’s not even funny. I love these two tracks. And their new Worldfall EP is completely stellar. If anyone reading lives in Chicago, the band will be playing a pre-release gig at Reggie’s Rock Club on May 30th. They’ll play new songs, and have the new record for sale at the merch tables, a full week and a half before it’s released.
I don’t think you people understand how badly I want this to come out. Like now.

What are the names of their prominent songs?

Look man, I’m open minded, for sure. But that was just black metal. I mean yeah it was good black metal, but what’s that?
It sounds like the CD was recorded 1980 in a garage, dumped to cassette, and then left on a dashboard in the sunlight for decades.
How about you guys save up for some decent production value?
