THE DEFTONES – “BORED” (LIVE, 1996)

Sometimes when I’m angry I just want to crank Adrenaline up to 11 and beat the living shit out of something, like that time in college when a spontaneous moshpit erupted in my bedroom and I sent a TV out the window. I’m not particularly angry today, but this song still gets my blood going every time I hear it.

    This vid rocks, and tunneled me back to my own college dorm, when I was a frosh in 96. Saw Deftones destroy opening for, um, 311. Good times.

    i love the deftones live. i’ve got like 20-30 bootlegs from this era on vhs in a box back at my parents house, and i think that it’s about time i dusted em off.

    and btw, i have to say this: holy shit, i can’t believe it’s been 12 years since this video. For christsakes, this year is their fucking 20th anniversary and they are still pushing new boundaries.
