I mean, I guess you do what you can on a budget. But mostly it seems like the band let some five year old just go nuts on the lighting board while some dude filmed it. Maybe next time they’ll at least bring back the chick from the “Are You Dead Yet?” video.
Whatever. Like I said, at least the song is killer.

That shit always happens to me. Can’t even see a crappy video these days.
These guys need to come up with some new riffs. I haven’t heard anything outta them that I haven’t heard before in years.
I think this is one of the best songs they’ve ever recorded. But yeah, the video blows.
This album isn’t as fast as Hatebreeder, but it’s just as fast as Follow The Reaper and quite possibly better. Their sound doesn’t leave much room for much growth but this album has been unfairly maligned. I actually think it’s better than Reaper.
wow – I can’t believe you even compared this to hatebreeder or FtR. The last 3 bodom albums can’t even hold a fuckin candle to their first 3. I’ve been a bodom fan since Something Wild and I have to say that they are barely the same band. What happened to the neo-classical ripoffs? Why does Alexi’s vox now sound like someone suffering from laryngitis rather than true death vocals? These new albums suck hard to say the least, and to even ponder whether these are any better than their old stuff means that you aren’t a true Bodom fan.
I like the new album, some great tunes. Seeing Bodom/gigantour next tuesday in San Diego.
like the album and the video is fine. I kinda hate to see bands that don’t have the money to waste on videos blowing it thinking it will help sales.
Let’s face it, at this point people who like COB like them. Not gonna be a whole lot of new converts.

Andrew, I agree with you. C.O.B. sounds much different than years ago, and I prefer Hatebreeder times. Just listen to these two and compare to the latest material

Although the latest album is fine, Hatebreeder is super good. Alexi sounds much better in Hatebreeder than in the latest album. I’ve been Bodom fan since 1999 and I still consider them as the best band of country Finland.
