Thanks for addressing this, Dallas. I saw a mediocre interview with Kerry King where the guy asks what KK thinks of Lamb Of God. KK replies saying that he “just doesn’t get those guys,” and rips on their live show for looking like they’re at rehearsal.

LOG have some unforgettably crushing material, but live they are boring. Thanks for keeping it heavy!

If a band doesn’t have stage presence, I refuse to pay big bucks to see them play. It’s the energy that sweeps up the crowd, and you guys undeniably conquer that field.

Stage presence IS just as important, and i recognize the flubs(mistakes) on stage too – makes you think,”wow, they’re human too.”

Speaking as a drummer, we gotta give our part too for stage presence. From a simple kick count to pump the crowd, or sometimes i like to stand up to get a better look at whats going on in front of me, when theres a second to catch my breath.
With my last band we had someof our best shows when no-one was there, but because we had a sort of comfort factor that made us get crazy on stage.

Anyways, I enjoy your rants Dallas, look very much forward to;
seeing the show in Vegas next week
hearing the new record and seeing the DVD

Yet another good one Dallas. Short and sweet this time, which is always nice. You’ve always been the energy at shows when the shits kinda slow. Even the few token “Hoooooowhat?!”s thrown in there crack me the fuck up. But that’s just because I’m white, and anything that happened on the Chappelle show is, and always will be hilarious.

I’ll be right there up front at the Boardwalk on the 28th with the “Frost Bitten Chalice of Eternal Dismemberment and Woeful Purgatory Imprisonment”(that’s what I call it). Oh yeah and I’ll be headbanging too, haha.
